From Prose to Poetry..!

An extract from my previous post. My hands on poetry writing competition during the independence day celebrations at work. Felt happy to participate and feel the presence..!!! Here you go to taste the journey of making an officer.

                                                    "Celebrate With A Bliss"

“Satyamavae Jayathae” kept echoing in my ears,
For which I paid remarkable respect all these years.

With 345 cadets marching towards the podium at their best,
With the honored tri colored badge carried on their chest.
With the aim in mind marking their mission,
Together they make a big salute to the nation!

With tears of happiness in every vision,
With the utmost responsibility to oblige being their Passion.
With trumpets being played in Rhythm,
Together the enthusiastic horses tapping their feat in unison!

With Cadet’s dashing voice strike the chord,
For which their identity was unique and bold.
Fire to stand against the foreign forces notable at its peak,
For which I was dumbstruck and unable to speak.

As the courageous cadet’s target their goal,
With destiny making the way to taste success on role.

With the words of “Tagore” making the end of the ceremony,
With the cadet’s salutes as a testimony.

Isn’t it all Motivating and Appealing?
Isn’t it all Inspiring and Amazing?
Yes, this was from the mind’s eye, moments captured from the Soul of Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai, on the yet another striking Independence Day.

Truly an outstanding and noteworthy day, Paving my thoughts a way.

Some voyages are hard fought,
Some are mesmerizing,
Some seems to be impossible,
But to be a rock stone strong enough to craft a journey is incredible and magical,

Their sacrifices for the nation are worth mentioning and priceless.
It’s time to cherish the compassion and passion,
It’s time to march ahead for a noble mission.

With salutations to worthy sons of INDIA,
Let’s share the happiness and bear the pain being a hand to hand for them.

A rousing line from Indian Army – “When you go home, tell them for us and say – for your tomorrow, we gave our today”
