Welcoming the 2nd year..!

For those of you who guessed it right, Namaste and thank you for being my constant reader, inspirer,  critic, supporter and always a good well wisher which makes me to step into the second year. For those who did not guess it right, never mind, you will start guessing it from now on J

Today (20.12.2013) is a very special day to me, not that it holds a significance that “both the consecutive years meet on the same day”, rather its unique as this is my second year since I started penning down my thoughts in my blog. Yes I feel this date close to my heart and will cherish it always. Motivation is an important thing when you start a new venture. Self motivation is one of the most important things that one should posses within them in their journey. This paved a way for me to begin my venture the same day last year. I am happy that the same spirit kept me going for this whole year and it will continue to do the same. I am thoroughly enjoying and celebrating this drive and proud of myself. I pat on my back and tell that myself that I am a good writer and will keep improving.

Writing has always been my passion and to start a blog was my dream comes true. Yes, indeed it was not really a tough job to get it started however with all my thoughts and views I wanted my blog to stay the one which will hold its place valuable always. It all started out by penning my beliefs in my diary who stays as my best pal always. Books stay as a source of good companion till date. They both together keep travelling with me throughout the roller coaster to experience my ups and downs in my life which turned out to be my own blog now.

The whole last year of my readings and writings have put me a road to think life in many aspects. It made me to ponder about various ways that one can look at the happenings around the life. It has been a good thing to taste all the experiences (sweet or sour) in my journey. These have taught small lessons, which helped me to mold myself. My hard work has been paid for it. Happy or sad moments, sweet or sour experiences, success or failures, expectations or betrayals, good or bad incidents, embarrassing or worthy events, encouragements or discouragements, etc. my writings have taught me to take it up with a right fortitude. Destiny is one such player with whom we can never win against. It would never fail in performing its duties and gives you what you deserve in your voyage. Unexpected things happens by giving us many surprises. One would definitely play it’s game in life. So it was all my writings which served as a consoler on bad events and encourager on my good events. Thanks to it.

There are my constant source of encouragement happening around me by my well wishers. Their best wishes, critic upon my writings and guidance are always there to give me that strength to ink my thoughts and make it big. I am focusing and taking time to drop in my views and enjoy the ride. Prayers to almighty for all his blessings throughout the year. Wish the same carries forward every year with the same spirit.

So here you go, you don’t lose anything by reading my blog, but you will definitely gain a pinch of happiness by reading out. I assure that my writings will definitely make you taste the essence of life within and around. So little bit show off for my blog is okay right.? Isn’t it.? J

As the countdown for the New Year 2014 begins, I wish you all success with good health in which ever step you take in life. Good luck.

Happy Reading.!

From Prose to Poetry..!

An extract from my previous post. My hands on poetry writing competition during the independence day celebrations at work. Felt happy to participate and feel the presence..!!! Here you go to taste the journey of making an officer.

                                                    "Celebrate With A Bliss"

“Satyamavae Jayathae” kept echoing in my ears,
For which I paid remarkable respect all these years.

With 345 cadets marching towards the podium at their best,
With the honored tri colored badge carried on their chest.
With the aim in mind marking their mission,
Together they make a big salute to the nation!

With tears of happiness in every vision,
With the utmost responsibility to oblige being their Passion.
With trumpets being played in Rhythm,
Together the enthusiastic horses tapping their feat in unison!

With Cadet’s dashing voice strike the chord,
For which their identity was unique and bold.
Fire to stand against the foreign forces notable at its peak,
For which I was dumbstruck and unable to speak.

As the courageous cadet’s target their goal,
With destiny making the way to taste success on role.

With the words of “Tagore” making the end of the ceremony,
With the cadet’s salutes as a testimony.

Isn’t it all Motivating and Appealing?
Isn’t it all Inspiring and Amazing?
Yes, this was from the mind’s eye, moments captured from the Soul of Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai, on the yet another striking Independence Day.

Truly an outstanding and noteworthy day, Paving my thoughts a way.

Some voyages are hard fought,
Some are mesmerizing,
Some seems to be impossible,
But to be a rock stone strong enough to craft a journey is incredible and magical,

Their sacrifices for the nation are worth mentioning and priceless.
It’s time to cherish the compassion and passion,
It’s time to march ahead for a noble mission.

With salutations to worthy sons of INDIA,
Let’s share the happiness and bear the pain being a hand to hand for them.

A rousing line from Indian Army – “When you go home, tell them for us and say – for your tomorrow, we gave our today”

Thrown away Freedom..?

It screwed up my Sunday noon. It woke me up to write this post with a heavy heart. It brought me up a several thoughts with tears. It gave me a space to pose several questions, for which I know I would not get an answer. Why is this happening over still? Why is it only in our country? How could people be so hardhearted devoid of no emotions in them? How could we get rid of these completely in our nation? Where is the solution?

It was past 1.00 o'clock after my heavy lunch over the Sunday noon. Thanks to my mom for that delicious filling lunch! With a deep breadth, I relaxed and sat on my couch. Tried to shuffle over the channels in my television. To my attention, I was stopped at a channel were the title of a film was scrolling over. It was a short film, which started in a usual way of portraying a village with a small girl may be of age 10 or 11 shedding tears on her departed father (I wonder why most of the films over our industry begin with an emotional scene with tragedy!) The people around the location consoled the mom and child, where when the head of the family departs, it naturally becomes the responsibility of the mom to support and run over the family. With a heavy heart the small girl had to stop her studies and assist her mom in the household activities. The hunger for wealth and education prevailed in the girl’s mind. Days passed, and it was on one fine day, the girl had to come over to the city and continue her household works by residing in a well posh house. This happened by one of the well wishers of the child's family. Naturally the mother wished to send her daughter to the city thinking of her good fortune and having a thought in mind that the child would get an opportunity to explore new things. The mother was in deep relief with thoughts that her girl will regain her lost education very soon. Unfortunately things did not fall in right place. As expected, unexpected things happened over very few days. In due course, the girl was been ill-treated for no reason, she was been pushed up to take heavy toil apart from her usual works, a good meal was just an imagination for the poor girl daily, the poverty of her family played its game, the education was still a dream for the pity girl to start, she could only virtually see the books and pens and what not to quote here. All these were the daily routines that the pathetic girl faced in the metropolitan city. The best part was that the members in the family can enact with a good flavor with the child in front of the guests and visitors. One can be false to others, but with a mirror (conciseness), yes they can be and there are people with this capability. They have the gut feeling as what penalty they should pay for. However the time to repay to the child was not too far for them. An internal sense of righteousness was on its way for them. Who can stop destiny, it has its time to go on. Days passed and the girl's patience was being knocked and tested. Without any delay and lots of confusion in mind, the pitiful girl went straight back to her hometown and narrated her ruefulness experience. The whole journey shook the villagers with peak anger in themselves. With a deep shock and grievance, the brave mother lodged a complaint as per the section laws. The whole family was dumbstruck and lost themselves in custody under police force. It was time for them to taste the girl's experience.

It is often said that "words are the powerful way to communicate", however at certain times expressions and gestures tells us the whole flavor than excellent phrases. They are rarely gone unsaid. Some things are best understood by portraying it visually and I was privileged to see the story as an embarrassed citizen. Wondering as why people did not develop yet as our nation is growing? Has the human heart so strong with just money bringing them the utmost happiness? Won't the love and affection, or the little girl's smile bring them joy and gladness in these people? How long the hunger for wealth and education stay? After the crisis, things either get better or worse. So are the poverty's crisis positive or negative? Yes, I don't have an answer, neither the noble prize winner Einstein as brought up a solution for this.

Upon all the above words I took and narrated, I am happy to proudly narrate about some NGO organizations which are taking care of these children who suffer from poverty and education. They provide a platform for a better learning, a podium to brighten their tomorrow, a stage to give them their best by transforming their dreams to reality and indeed a most adoptable environment to see the real happiness and Joy. Children who’s thirst for education is filled and nourished every day. Children who is left with the word orphan at their birth no longer see them isolated in these NGOs arms. A new beginning has brought up with these helping hands. I salute to those people for their incredible activities all the long way. Hats off to them. Their service is worth world wide. Let's be a part of this, support and help a child who is in needy. Being born poor is not their mistake.!

With celebrations of independence day just coming to an end, Let's keep hold of our freedom and raise our voice towards poverty and crisis. Let this post create an awareness among ourselves to enrich the thirst of education among these pitiful children.

Disclaimer : The above mentioned story is just an imaginary. Any resemblance to the real person living or dead is purely coincidental.

"Memorable Memories" – From Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai

The making of an officer is a pictorial commentary of thoughts and feelings which stays in every individual who join the “INDIAN ARMY” to serve the nation. They turn into young military leaders, equipped with professional knowledge, confidence and character to lead men in war and peace. The honor and reputation of the Officers Training Academy (OTA), the Indian army and the country is now on their young shoulders. Isn't it motivating? Do you want to see in your mind's eye the moments happening over at OTA?  Here you go,
“Satyameva Jayate” was one of the strongest words which kept echoing in my ears for the whole day. Goose bump started showing its action on me when I saw the 345 cadets (300 male cadets and 45 female cadets), following each other and marching towards the post in unison to make a big salute to the nation. It was a real treat to the eyes. A vision that one cannot miss in his life. Every parent had their tears with abidance happiness. No doubt as a visitor I got it too. Every young individual gathered in the academy had their almost feeling to join Indian army, strive hard at the utmost level, sacrificing themselves in order to serve and nourish our country in all means.

Yes, it was none other than the “Passing out Parade” ceremony of the 345 cadets organized on that auspicious day. It was event wherein the cadets will be promoted to the prestigious grade of becoming an officer (called as military/army officer). It was indeed a big and a turning point day for all of them. The whole crew gathered around to make a salute to our tri-color flag which was placed near the stage. It is so called their “Farewell party” wherein the cadets bid a big bye to the cadet’s dress and happily get ready to show themselves as officers with their proud medals at the chest.

The whole function was graced by the presence of her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the former president of India. The commandant “Lt Gen JS Bajwa”, was the man behind the whole ceremony from OTA, Chennai. Higher officials from across India, Parents, Friends and Well wishes, junior cadets were all present to enjoy the visual treat. The appealing moment was one such thing I could not dream of getting it again. I was blessed to be one among the audience who gathered there at the academy.

The whole agenda was well managed with no spark of any obstacles. It was a clean beginning and a neat finish. Truly practice makes a man not only perfect but also responsible. The day started out with cadets marching towards the final step to attain the goal. The objective was clearly set in them and it could be seen in them with utmost sincerity and courage. The esteemed tri color on their chests said it all about an individual.  The saffron color represents courage and sacrifice, white being truth, peace and purity and the last Green being prosperity with the Ashok Chakra representing the Laws of Dharma (righteousness). Wonder if the waves of these have touched the cadets even before they were born. I was speechless seeing the whole ceremony just in front of me. The cadet’s voices at the peak, the words “Jai Hind” echoed straight to the heart. The respect and the fire to strive hard and save the nation were present in each one of them.  The whole ceremony was thoroughly interesting and enjoyable which made to kindle my thoughts. The program then followed by chief commandant’s rousing and inspiring speech, an introduction of the every single group present, the performance of enthusiastic horses which was tapping its foot along with trumpet’s beat. It came straight from the “Parameswara Gate”. Honoring the best cadets took place with a standing ovation and applause. The event finally came to an end with the much awaited grand finale Piping ceremony, where the cadets turning to officers. The words of “Rabindranath Tagore” the national anthem was sung in unison which marked the end of the celebration.

The Officers Training Academy has served the nation with distinction for the past 44 years. Isn't it amazing? Truly an unforgettable and outstanding day for me, which I hold and cherish them in my memories forever. I proudly take a bow and respect the people for their ever ending courageous act. Saluting the worthy sons of INDIA by touching the soul of OTA. Hats off. Jai ho..!!!!

Let’s be a part of Indian army by either serving the nation with pride or at least saluting the people from our heart to those who have and being sacrificed/scarifying till this minute. Let’s share their happiness and bear their pain being a hand to hand for them.

An stirring line from the hearts of Indian Army:
“Serve with honor” – when you go home, tell them for us and say, “For your tomorrow, we gave our today”..!!!

Back to Memories..!

Yeah it's been since 3 years I had bid a bye to my college campus. It was with a mixed emotions, I penned down the below lines in my diary. Yet another time it took me back to those lovely memories while i write this as a post.

The days which always stay close to my heart,
Yeah, it’s my lovely college days where I start…

I feel delighted in pouring down my thoughts about the days which I always cherish,
The journey which I always keep refreshing about..

The moments spent with my friends will always stay like a photograph,
As my slam book is filled up with many autographs.

Entered this world with a blank thoughts, no ideas and unknown looks,
But now leaving with clear thoughts, strong ideas and heartfelt of joy and woe..

Books, tests, assignments, projects, models, labs, practical etc etc...Were the few words which makes me remember about my college days,
As these left a ever lasting impression in many ways..

Sweet memories keep haunting me,
When I changed to us,
When yours changed to ours,

The canteen galattas, tours, bus journeys, sleeping hours, chit chats, sms, treats, teasing, insults, appreciation, criticisms, joy, pain, prizes, betrayals, etc..Huh and what not,,
Has made me think what this trip in life is all about,,

Farewell parties, cultural, sports day were some of the events which made me off from the regular classes,
No doubt it all made me spellbound with prizes and surprises…!!

‘Friendship’ and ‘love’ were the two strong scenting words which echoed in all students ears in the four years,,
Of course I too enjoyed these waves..

Funny comments, hangouts, ODs, fun, sometimes nuts, at times matured, care from the loved ones, a shoulder to lean, a hand to wipe tears, advice from elders, a surprise gift from your best friend, birthday wishes and parties, seniors treat, placements, gala times etc.
Will stay green forever and always…

Friends came like a shower.
Who was my tower of power, they were my pillars of strengths.

Many happy moments, many unforgettable days, many embarrassing periods, many changes,
Made me feel and think that life has its own faces.!

My parents, teachers, professors, well wishers, to whom I bow,,
Without them I could not have succeeded now.

Failure and success are the two buzz words which everyone has tasted,
This was taken in a positive spirit.

I still wonder how god knows that I needed friends, who are true to love, care, share, teach, show me to the world the best way I am…
It satisfied when I met you.!

Here I am ending up my roller coaster ride,
With treasures of moments taking me a long wide.!

Hope u enjoyed traveling in it. For every one of us, our college days are really a feast in their life. It has it's own pleasures and pains. Some might give you pleasures, some might give you pains, some might betray us, some might travel with you, some might have failed to justify, at times we must have created our enemies, at times we miss our dear ones, at times we must have failed to understand the situations, at times our expectations hurts ourselves, at times we have lost a relationship in turn gained something else, at times it would make us ponder with heavy thoughts, at times we say all is for good, at times we struggle to differentiate the right and wrong, and what not,, there are several other things which takes us back to our old memories with pure joy and tears.

Apart from these, there is always a deep pleasure combined with emotions lying inside ourselves thinking of those lovely days and missing them..!!

Cherish those forever..!

Delicious Diary..!!!

My diary holds a very special place in my heart right from the day it held my thoughts.

It was at 2005 when I started penning my views in it. Be it either my poems, short stories, hykoo (a 2 liner poem), quotes on motivation, my pleasure or pain, memorable dates and its happenings, each and every bit of these are penned across in my diary. It’s my best energy drink I can ever have when I am held down. It shares all my happiness and sorrow. The learning’s which life has taught me and still teaching me are many, I share those with my best pal – My Chronicle. Each thought I think and feel are portrayed there. My diary gives life to those wordings and views. It shaped me well as a writer and now a blogger. I believe the best way to express your thoughts and make you feel refreshed is to pen down yourself in your personal book. Make your own personal diary penning your opinions, ideas and occurrences happened over your life. The happenings or incidents which are sweet or sour, write it down. Marking your views will reduce your stress and will keep you engaged at your depressed times. I consider it always as my mother which holds and give birth to my writings.

A professional diary could also nourish you with greater heights. The activities you do, the learning s you get, the knowledge you share, everything could be jotted out in this. This will make you think as where you stand in a crowd. Each day could be utilized in its own manner. Your diary will be as your best buddy teaching you lots of things to face life with courage. Writing always keep oneself engaged. You need not be a great poet, or a  good lyricist, or an well known author, or a blogger to create your diary. A little amount of passion and interest to take up your daily activities and jot them down in your chronicle is what makes your diary. It will make nourish you and make your dream come true.

Your diary will create thousands of memories which you will cherish and take forever. Definitely your memories will be of mixed emotions which will make you learn what life is all about. It's only in the small things happiness lies always. It's up to us to utilize it or not. We go in search for it elsewhere not thinking that it lies within ourselves. Love yourself and express it to your own diary. None can be your best pal other than this special notes.

The autograph book still lingers fresh in everyone's memories. It's always my pleasure, holding my views in my diary. One such is below. A small poem which I penned some 2 years ago while looking at my Slam book :
"Autograph - A treasure"
Tears rolled down from my cheeks, felt like I should get some hug.
It all happened as a spark, when my slam book had a mark.

So far, so long, it was time to sing a farewell song,
when thoughts were penned with full bang.

The beautiful signatures came to me as an award,
As i wholeheartedly treasure it as a reward.!

With all the thoughts and impressions, you make your road.
For which my beautiful memories stay along in full load.

I hold you deep in my remembering..!!!
Whenever i read it, i am taken back to my college days and its most precious moments it gifted me..!!

So what for you are waiting,,,Take a pen and a paper, ink your thoughts and make yourself feel better. :)
